Your Responsibilities:
The IPM will have market and business development responsibility for Lighting, focusing on SSL Lighting in the US market and providing also global product marketing leadership for SSL.
1. Define Regional product roadmap via close interaction with key Shaper customers and L2 application centers • Define new product concepts and new product derivatives in close cooperation with shaper customers • Assessment of business case attractiveness (value proposition, market entry steps) • Identify and communicate market trends
2. Responsible for successful penetration of product portfolio into a global technology/application market space • Identify and support tier one customer design-in projects in cooperation with NXP regional marketing and sales • Work with key account sales teams to penetrate strategic opportunities • Increase share of wallet and market share with key customers • Define local value proposition and product positioning • Define support tools, demos, etc needed for successful design-in of product • Work with L2 application centers to prioritize key opportunities and support requirements • Support New Product Introduction • Train Regional Marketing Managers • Produce new product technical content for the web and for the region.
3. Identify together with regional marketing a complete list of design-in and win opportunities and provide input for the design-win targets. Monitor the quality of data in the regional design-win list and drive design in/win projects to closure.
4. Coordinate competitive benchmarking with L2 centers
5. Establish regional pricing policy for OEM and Distribution
Your Profile:
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a highly competitive high tech international B2B environment.
- Three plus years experience in product management, marketing or sales (and or education background Bachelor or Master level marketing/ business administration).
- Strong technical background (BSc. EE, MSc. EE or similar) ideally in Lighting, focusing on SSL Lighting in the US market .
- High degree of autonomy and strong teamwork abilities.
- Entrepreneurial drive, result driven and challenge-oriented (capability to select, focus on key product targets and to build momentum with his counterparts).
- Strong interpersonal skills in international environment.
